Forge DevCon Keynote Video 2017
Autodesk Forge is a web service platform that gives developers and innovators the tools and software they need to turn Autodesk software into the building blocks for their own products. Every year, Autodesk holds its annual Forge DevCon event, where the world’s largest gathering of design and engineering software developers come together at Autodesk AU.

What we did
For DevCon 2017, Torpedo was asked to create a video to be played at the opening address. It not only needed to clearly highlight Forge’s key capabilities, it also had to inspire and educate the audience, giving them a taste of the incredible things they can achieve with the tools on the Forge platform.
The video took existing Autodesk show-reel footage and edited it to highlighted Forge’s key capabilities. To reflect the 3D nature of Autodesk software, the video was designed to be played in a 3D space, while energetic music and a compelling voiceover enhanced the visuals and gave the video an inspirational feel.
