The purpose of the Digital Journey infographic is to help Autodesk customers to understand the digital journey for their businesses, and to show how easy digitising design & manufacturing business can be. While everyone’s business and journey will be different, they all involve the following 5 steps.
The 5 steps are:
The Digital Strategy step is usually a meeting that involves the digital strategy template to explore where the customer’s business is today, where it might be in the future and what they need to do to get there.
The Innovation Workshop & Assessment step explores the key capabilities that drive growth & profitability alongside other business leaders from the industry. It gives the customer an understanding of what’s possible, a personalised assessment of their readiness and ideas for how to go about improving it using digital.
The Discovery Meeting involves the visit of one of the industry experts to better understand the business, map out their current processes, identify the bottlenecks and opportunities that digital tools could help overcome.
The Recommendations step is when the Autodesk team present the findings and recommendations of the technologies that are most likely to help the business achieve its goals, together with a plan on how to move forward.
Finally, the Digital Catalyst step helps to accelerate the implementation. They place a Digital Catalyst – a student expert from a leading UK design & manufacturing university, to help drive adoption and innovation in the business
The infographic illustration received great feedback from the client and associated stakeholders. Furthermore, the feedback received from the customers has been impressive, since they have mentioned how easy is now to understand the process. The Digital Journey Infographic has since become really popular among some of Autodesk EMEA teams and we have received several project requests afterwards asking us to leverage these illustrations.
