For the hero images, the idea was to use visuals that would represent a standard manufacturing workshop environment. One that would also contain a human element. Once this was agreed, our creative team started work on the creative treatment of the images. The team began cleaning the image, extending it to fit the different assets, and incorporating the 3D model that comes out of the screen. Following strict Autodesk iconography brand guidelines, we also created different icons and added flowing lines to create connections between them.
The icons represent the different manufacturing processes, such as mold simulation, additive manufacturing, generative design, and CNC machining.
Once the hero image was signed off, we were able create a comprehensive set of assets. These included social media assets (for Facebook and LinkedIn), static banners, animated banners (mp4s and HTML5), a one-page brochure, an internal sales cheat sheet and assets for the landing page (iconography and imagery). We also created some of these assets for partner use.
Following some really positive feedback from Autodesk about the campaign, we were given the go-ahead to work on a separate campaign regarding Generative Design.
